Welcome To Mountain Mouse Land. October 1976 - Don on PCT near Ash Creek north of Olancha Peak. This site contains primarily photographs of my travels since 1958 in the Western States, Alaska and Canada. Between 1958 and 1995 I did extensive backpacking and climbing, mostly in the Sierra Nevada of California. I have a large collection of pictures from these trips. This site is continuously under construction as I add new sections to the slide shows.

Always with concern for the safety of all parties. Ojai team members were involved in most all aspects of the rescue and recovery at the La Conchita Mud Slide. Swift Water Rescue La Canada Canyon - Ojai team members assist in the rescue of the occupants trapped in their pickup. Swift Water Rescue La Canada Canyon - Victims being helped to safety by members for the Upper Ojai SAR team.
